Terms

Last updated 2026-10-21

These are the rules for using Docent. By using it you agree to them.

What Docent is

Docent opens a web address you give it in a real browser, walks through the pages, and makes a narrated video of what it found.

Your account

You sign in with a link sent to your email. Keep that inbox secure — whoever can open it can use your account.

What you can point it at

The narration is written by a machine

Docent writes the narration from what's on your pages. It can get things wrong. Watch the whole video before you publish it. What you publish is your responsibility.

Your videos are yours

You own the videos you make. We store them so we can deliver them to you. Free-plan videos carry a Docent watermark.

Plans and payment

Plan limits

Plans include the walkthroughs shown when you sign up. If usage looks automated or abusive, we can limit or pause it.

No guarantees about uptime

We work to keep Docent running, but we don't promise it will always be available or that every walkthrough will come out right. If something goes wrong, the most we owe you is what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may change these terms or the product. If a change matters, we'll email you. You can stop using Docent any time. We can close accounts that break these rules.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Questions: john@instabid.pro.
